It is a female who's loved ones (father, husband, or entire family) have been killed by a murder, plane crash, disease, or corrupt government action. There is always millions hidden away in a storage locker, bank, or in gold. They seek your assistance, and will play on your maternal instincts, or a male’s instinct to "rescue" a dying or needy woman.
Often the damsel is herself dying of Cancer, or a variety of other ailments. Sometimes she is worried about being killed by relatives or a government after her cash. Her father or husband was a Diplomat, Royalty, or a prominent businessman.
Many times they will use names of people that did (or do) exist, and may attempt to substantiate the story with news links. They may refer you to their attorney, or a clergyman; on occasion they're living in a refugee camp. As you read the emails, one thing that is clear is that the story is contrived, and is shared between scammers for repeated use. There are no damsels in need of your assistance in other countries; they only want your money.

I'm still trying to get additional pictures that will confirm this to a higher degree. She admits to being a scammer, tells how she got into it, and claims she would like to get out of it; thats what makes her unique. They almost never admit it.

I'll explain Rose. sadly, there are many people in Africa that prey on other people using the internet. They take fake pictures and ID's they find on the internet and use them to send to people claiming it's them, then they give a sad drawn out story of having millions of dollars trapped in Africa.
Eventually they ask the victim to send money to either a priest, storage company, or lawyer (Barrister to you). They request these "fee's" be sent via Western Union, or Money Gram. These fee's can range from $150.00 USD to $3,600 USD.
These thieves have completely destroyed all chance of any other nation attempting to do legitimate business with them. In their greed to enrich themselves, they have sold the future of Africa and their people. They are truly the scum of the earth.
By asking for a "seductive picture" I can be assured that if the pictures you have already sent aren't you, then you will not be able to produce another photo of the type I request. If you did produce the picture, then I know that it's most likely really you, and perhaps your tale is true.
Currently, it appears you cannot produce the photo as described, so the answer to your question is "No, I cannot help you".

I own a website called allreaders.net (works either way). In my spare time I interact with 419 Yahoo Yahoo boys (and girls) for entertainment partly, but also to show the world exactly how the scam works. I've received many letters from people that have fallen victim to such scams.
Now we both know the truth is that there are no millions of dollars to be obtained by you or I. Believe me, I wish it were true just as much as you do. I understand living in the poverty of Nigeria sucks, and you want out of it desperately. I realize the small portion of the money that your paid by your handlers after the scam victim (AKA: Mugu) sends the money, probably goes a long way to cover your bills.
At the same time you need to realize that for the small portion you recieve, someones life is destroyed for a long time. All Americans aren't rich, and the ones that typically fall victim to such scams are usually quite poor and desperate themselves.
Some even land in jail after the checks bounce; more often in a scam such as the one your involved in (I call it the Damsel in Distress Scam), they can't pay their own bills because they sent the only money they had to your associates.
I can tell by your eyes (and you do have beautiful eyes), that your a good hearted and sweet young lady. Now I have no intention of chasing after millions that don't exist, I'm nobody's fool. What you described with the Yahoo Boys living in their nice homes, and driving their fancy cars, is very much like what happened in America 20 years ago. There was a drug called Crack, and it started in the poorest areas of the country.
The kids selling Crack (predominately black) grew rich, and had all the things to show for it. The buyers of the crack (also predominately black), abandoned their children, sold all of their possessions, lost their jos, and eventually died from their addiction to Crack.
