Since we first posted the contribution of a former employee of AutographsAmerica.com, we have been bombarded with threatening letters from lawyers representing Brian Burkel; The first of which is below.
After responding to the first lawyer and explaining that we would defend ourselves in court if needed, he vanished, Then a new more threatening law firm stepped in to show us who was going to tell who, what to do.
Below you will see a flurry of demands and threats against this site and it's owner. After consulting with our own legal team, we are confident we have every legal right to post the facts on this site.
Oddly, the last letter we received supports our own position, and clearly shows we would prevail in a court of law. Recently we have learned that Burkel has had to return over 20k to a buyer he defrauded once the items were deemed forgeries by a renowned expert thanks to the buyers credit card company. Since then, AA has been reduced to offering all items for sale at a 90% discount!
If you have been cheated by anyone on the web, contact your credit card company first. It just may get you your money back.
